A) The Archeologists' Profession 3 days/2
nights
Day 1-Cerveteri

A learning itinerary in the Etruscan necropolis of Banditaccia
with its huge tumuli that reproduce inside the various types
of
Etruscan homes. A guided visit of the National Museum where
funerary objects found in the various necropoli are kept.
Day 2-Lab- The Archeologist's profession
A day dedicated to a simulated stratigraphic excavation. The
students will work using the different archeological practices,
from surface recognition to the stratigraphic excavation and
documentation of finds, to their description and cataloging
working in a previously set up archeological area.
Day 3-Tarquinia
Learning itinerary to the Monterozzi necropolis and visit
to the National Museum of Palazzo Vitelleschi.
B)In the Etruscan Ceramist's Workshop 3
days/2 nights
Day 1-Tarquinia
Learning itinerary at the necropolis of Tarquina famous for
its marvelous tombs painted with scenes of everyday life.
Guided visit to the National Etruscan Museum in Palazzo Vitelleschi
in the historic center of ancient Corneto.
Day 2-Cerveteri-Etruscan Ceramics Lab
The
lab will introduce the techniques of production and decoration
used today by master ceramists, experts in Etruscan reproductions.
The objects made by the students will be fired and then sent
to the various schools before the end of the school year.
Day 3-Pirgy
Learning itinerary to the Antiquarium of Pyrgi, known throughout
the world for the famous "gold plates" found in
1964 near the sacred area. A walk along the polygonal walls
of the Roman castrum (3rd century B.C.) the medieval village
and the Roman fish pond next to the remains of Nero's father's
villa.

C) The Great Civilizations of the Past
3 days /2 nights
Day 1-Viterbo
Learning itinerary in the historic center of Viterbo to see
the churches, medieval quarter of San
Pellegrino. A visit to underground Viterbo in the medieval
grottos of Piazza della Morte. Guided tour of the Papal Palace,
the museum of Rocca Albornoz and the Roman theatre of Ferento.
Day 2-Tuscania

Learning trip to the Etruscan necropolis of Tuscania, visit
to the Tomb of the Regina and the National Etruscan Museum.
Walk in the historic center of the medieval city. School Camps
of 3 days/2 nights
Day 3-Cerveteri
Learning trip to the Etruscan necropolis of the Banditaccia
with its huge tumuli rproducing the interior of various types
of Etruscan houses. Visit to the National Etruscan Museum.

Day 2- Vulci
Learning itinerary to the Vulci Natural-Archeological Park.
Visit to the Etruscan-Roman town, to the monumental tombs
and the National Museum at Castello della Badia. The visit
to the Park includes the Archeological Lab active in the area.
The methods of excavation, techniques of graphic documentation,
the study of the found pieces and their conservation and restoration
.
Day 3- Cerveteri
The entire day is dedicated to simulated stratified excavation
that helps reconstruct, in a scientific way using modern archeological
techniques and tools, the phases of "accumulation"
of finds in a specific context. The students will work using
the diverse arhceolgical paractices: recognition of the surface,
stratified excavations, documentation of finds, their description
and catalogation, working in a previously set up archeolgical
area.
Day 4 Tarquinia-fresco lab
The learning itinerary will take us to Tarqunia's necropolis,
famous for the marvelous tombs painted with scenes of daily
life. Fresco techniques in Etruscan times. The making of a
tablet decorated according to the ancient techniques. A visit
the National Etruscan Museum at Palazzo Vitelleschi in the
historic center of ancient Corneto
