Day 1 Sovana
Visit to the ancient medieval village with the Aldobrandesca Rocca (13th century), the Clock tower, Palazzo Bourbon del Monte and the Archives. Among the important monuments: the birthplace of Pope San Gregorio VII, Ildebrando da Sovana that holds an interesting land mollusk museum (malacologia terrestre) the only one in Europe and the cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul, one of the most important medieval buildings in Tuscany.

Day 2 -The Archeological Park

Morning and afternoon visits to the Archeological Park ,Città del Tufo ,an extraordinary outdoor museum extending over 70 hectares. The territory has great landscape and archeological value, for the civilizations that have lived here since the Bronze Age (Villanovian civilization) and the traces they have left, for the Etruscan necropoli and medieval and Renaissance monuments.

Day 3 Vitozza and Sorano

Guided visit to the rock cliff settlements dating back to the year 1000. The area is characterized by over 100 grottos excavated in the tufo used as homes and surrounded by the remains of the Chiesaccia, the Castle and important colombari. A visit to Sorano one of the most interesting medieval towns with the Orsini fortress, a masterpiece of military architecture and the museum of the Castle.
